Intuit QuickBooks Recent Systems Issues
Many of us have been affected by the service outages at Intuit within the last month. Although this has not been a pleasurable series of events, I also believe there are 2 ways to look at this situation. Many people are choosing to negatively attack Intuit, including many of my colleagues. I on the other hand realize Intuit did not maliciously cause these outages and that they are working hard to correct them and prevent them in the future. Since I started Quality Consulting and Billing in 1997, I have found many clients have had similar events happen to their businesses and they did not have a disaster recovery plan. So this is a lesson to all businesses that there will always be events that happen, some much larger than others. Instead of pointing the finger at Intuit, let's all take a look at our disaster recovery plans and make sure we know what to do in an emergency.
